Translation... Coprels
Telecomm system is going Digital.
Aiming always with
agility to offer a quality
service to its Co-ops,
Coprels Telecomm system
(Telephone systems, radio
dispatch service and the
operation of long distance
equipment) is being improved by a
migration of part of the system
from analog to digital. This work
is being accomplished by American
and Vietnamese engineers, in
conjunction with the
Coprels technicians.
A digital
system makes possible remote
command of equipment for the
distribution of electric energy.
In addition, it
allows that equipment like relays
and switches, are connected or
disconnected remotely at the
command of the Center of
Operations and Distribution (COD)
- in Ibiruba RS, Brasil. This
speeds the reestablishment of
energy, therefore eliminating the
necessity of an electrician to go
to the site of the outage, the
COD knows beforehand of the same
disconnections as the Co-ops.
The director
and president of the company VDV
Media Corporation (formerly of
Uniden America Corp - the company
that supplied the analog trunking
system to Coprel), CapVan Nguyen,
is now at Coprel supervising the
implementation of the system.
Accompaning him for the technical
training of the Coprel team are
American engineer Nick Avdonin
and Vietnamese engineers Phung
Van Ha, Ngo Quang Truong, Hoang
Sam and Nguyen Tien Dung.
According to
the president of the Coprel,
Vital Janio Stefanello, "to
modernize the Telecom system was
a top priority raised by the
Consulting board its approval
finalizes the assembly; with the
main objective to speed the
attendance to the Co-ops and the
administration of our electrical
system ".
